WHY STARFIELDSKY? |
Hullo, and congratulations for stumbling upon this little journal, home to seikochan's graphics, drabbles, photo dumps, and the occasional something else. Most of my personal recollections, as well as some entries that really belong here but I'm too lazy/sentimental to move, go into my main journal, so basically you're stuck with all my random spurts of what I pretend to be creativity. Sounds fun, ne? ^_~
Content-wise, you'll mostly find Sailor Moon graphics and drabbles, with a dash of my other fandoms on the side. Occasionally, I'll do a photo dump, which is basically a collection of photos I take that I wish to show off shamelessly share with everyone.
I'm pretty sure that I'll be adding more things in the future, but for the meantime, this is all I can think of. So, I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to friend if you'd like to watch for updates. Sankyuu~! :3 |
The journal name is actually a nod to my current favorite character, Seiya Kou/Sailor Star Fighter of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Yes, one of the gender-benders.
The name "Seiya Kou" means "starfield light", the scientific term for the light from distant stars which cannot be seen by the naked eye (thank you, Starlight Pops!), which I adapted into a username. This whole journal is themed after stars and heavenly bodies, hence my attempts at wordplay.
Also, as parapsionic pointed out, it is also a play on words itself. "Star-filled sky" = "starfieldsky"? Didn't realize it myself till she pointed it out. Haha.
(Actually, the real reason why it's starfieldsky is because all the other names I wanted were taken. But the above apply, too. ^_^;;;)
